Telford Angling Association Night Permits 2026

Night Permits are required for the following waters:

Priorslee Flash

Trench Pool

Apley Pool

Applications will be available for ONE DAY to collect from the Little Dawley Pools car park on SUNDAY 19th APRIL at 11 am.

The following criteria is needed to be eligible for a permit.

1. You are a full TAA member on the day of collecting your application AND are able to prove so on the day.

   
   

2. Your home address is under a “TF” Telford postcode AND can prove it on the day via an official letterhead, driving licence and household bill etc. REMEMBER: Passports do not have your home address on them.

   
   

3. You have not had a warning or ban within the last 12 months. TAA has a record of this and our Bailiffs are well aware of who causes them the most issue on our waters.

   
   

4. You MUST be 18 years old or over on the day of application. We have a lot of younger anglers coming through who may show interest or want to reserve one while they wait for their birthday to come up. This is not possible. We only have so many tickets, we won’t reserve any as this is not fair. If we feel you may be under 18, you may be asked to provide proof of age via an official means of proof such as a driving licence or passport showing your date of birth.

   
   

5. You understand that TAA runs a One Strike Rule when night Permits are concerned. It is in your interest to ensure you abide by the rules. If you feel that you are not going to be able to stick to these rules for any reason, you need not apply.

6. You are able to submit via email, a clear, passport style photograph (head and shoulders) photograph of yourself when requested to do so via a valid email address you provide to us on your application.

7. You are able to pay the permit fee of £35.00 via a link sent to you if/when your application is accepted by TAA. THE CUT OFF DATE FOR ALL PAYMENTS IS 23.59 ON 11th MAY 2026 WHEN THE PAYMENT LINK WILL AUTOMATICALLY SWITCH OFF. No extra time will be given after this date. A lot of work is needed to be completed, no extra work will be accepted.

8. You understand that you will need your TAA night fishing permit with you at all times and failure to produce one, when asked for, will mean you will need to vacate the pool(s) until you can provide it.

9. You can not use your permit before 1st June 2026.

10. ONE APPLICATION PER POOL PER PERSON. You may apply for all three permits, but you can not take extra permits for friends and/or family members.

11. Application forms will be completed on the day and returned to TAA.

12. TAA WILL NOT tolerate any abuse, verbal or otherwise towards its Bailiffs or Committee. Any such abuse WILL not only mean loss of your Night Permit, but also a 12 month ban from ALL TAA controlled waters and possibly a report sent to the Police. We are not there to be abused, but to ensure safe and enjoyable fishing for our anglers and to ensure the care of our fish stocks.

    
    

13. TAA does not accept any kind of bribe (yes, some do “try it on”), or favors as this is not fair on our members and is immoral.

14. You will be sent a set of the extra Night Permit Rules via email when your application is accepted. No excuses for not knowing what they are!
