Day Ticket Dodgers On TAA Waters. A Quick Way To A Total Ban.
Firstly, IF YOU ARE GOING TO VISIT A TELFORD ANGLING ASSOCIATION WATER YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR DAY TICKET BEFORE YOU WET A LINE.
Now that's out of the way, we have had some very dishonest "anglers" think it's OK to go fishing on our waters, then scarper as soon as they see our keeper arrive. This is totally unacceptable and amounts to theft. They have used a service and not paid for it.
Our Keepers have seen who has done this, and no matter which one of our fisheries they chose to grace with their unwanted or needed presence, all of our Keepers will be watching, and when found, our Keepers will be able to photograph them (which is within their rights as they are in a public space), and issue them with one of our special bans that we give to naughty people.
Now, IF this was kids, you could expect this kind of behaviour, it's wrong, but it happens. We're getting this from adults!!
Anyway, Telford Angling Association want to thank our paying anglers for their continued support both with permits and day tickets.
If anyone believes that someone on one of our fisheries is acting suspicious, or you know that they're stealing from our Association (and you as a paying angler), please notify TAA and we will get right on it.
